The Story

This particular vintage pattern was designed and released by W.H. Grindley & Co. during the 1950’s and discontinued in 1960. The pattern was released in the blue version as Janique, in green as Paulette and in burgundy red as Rosemary. Although all three are considered rare by collectors, the Rosemary was released in the late stages before discontinuation and therefore in very limited numbers.

The pattern displays a burgundy red border highlighted by tans scroll patterning with gold trim along scalloped rims. This saucer is decorated in the Rosemary pattern.

Stamped underneath Creampetal, Grindley, England.

Slight fading of the gold trim exist, aside from this the saucer is in very good condition.

Height of rim: 2.4 cm, Diameter of base: 4.2 cm, Diameter of rim: 14.8 cm
